We are Australia’s largest privately owned mining, construction and maintenance services company, working across the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors. We are delivering on existing contracts at our Whyalla operations in regional South Australia. Our scope includes ore excavation, drill and blast, haulage operations, plant feed and train loading.

Due to recent growth in the project scope, BGC Contracting now have a unique opportunity for an Apprentice Heavy Duty Fitter.

  • Can do attitude aligned to our culture and values
  • Completion of a pre-apprenticeship or successful completion of previous apprenticeship modules (desirable)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels
  • Strong commitment to operating safely and embracing our TRISAFE framework
