Transnet Freight Rail seeks a Trainee Yard Official at its depot in Kaserne, Johannesburg. The purpose of the job is to place and clear trucks, compile, receive and dispatch trains and to deliver trucks/trains at their required destination

Transnet is South Africa’s state-owned freight transport and logistics company and is the custodian of the country’s rail, ports and pipeline networks.

Requirements

 

Grade 12 preferably with maths
Be qualified in Yard Official duties or be prepared to attend and pass the first available course

Physically fit
Clear speech
Visual acuity
