| Job Description | Do you have a degree or diploma in Information Technology? Do you have a burning passion to work in a cutting edge software development team and would you like to kick off your career in the largest media player in Africa? Then Media24 is the place for you! We are looking for dynamic and energetic graduates wanting to specialise in software development (websites and mobile applications) to join our Graduates in Media Programme on a one-year internship contract. The candidates should be reliable self-motivators and show a true passion for IT and software development. |
| Minimum Requirements | A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related (a must!). 6 – 12 months web development experience working with ASP.NET (Frameworks 4 and 3.5) C#, and PHP and good understanding of object oriented design and development principles. It is advantageous to have experience using JavaScript frameworks and AJAX techniques, experience in stored procedures and MS SQL Server, and experience in mobile development. |
| Skills & Competencies | You should be an analytical thinker with creative problem solving abilities. You should be able to work in a fast paced environment with excellent attention to detail. You should be able to work well in a team and independently with a Can-Do attitude, and be reliable to ensure that projects within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner. You should also be flexible about working with new methodologies and technologies. |
