Job Description | Reporting to the Procurement Executive and working with a team of Buyers, the successful candidate will help with the delivery of the Procurement Department’s initiatives in terms of effectiveness and enhanced efficiencies. |
Minimum Requirements | •Grade 12 or equivalent qualification •Progress towards or recently completed an academic Business Qualification with Procurement as a major subject •1 year experience in a procurement environment, preferably in an FMCG manufacturing environment |
Duties & Responsibilities | •Procurement Administration: o Assisting with tender administration. o Doing filing of all Procurement documentation. o Keeping an updated list of Supplier contact numbers o Expediting required orders and ensure that all items are received on time by managing the stock receipt report. o Assisting in stock counts. o Following up and addressing problem invoices from suppliers. •Order management o Placing packaging, ingredients as well as general store stock orders. o Ensuring that all orders (stock and non-stock) are placed on time at the best price with the best supplier or as per contract o Communicating delivery dates to end users o Placing and confirming orders with suppliers •Teamwork o Encouraging collaboration with other team members. o Implementing organised and effective work-methods. o Clarifying ambiguities by confirming expectations. |
