Introduction
A busy family owned and managed event management company based in
Midrand is looking for an Event Administration Assistant to fill a part time
contract. This company organises a large conference at the beginning of June
each year. This person is required to assist with the pre-registration of
delegates to this event. The contract is available immediately through to 27th
June.

Minimum Requirements

 

Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong computer skills in respect of all Microsoft office and database
    programmes.
  • The ability to work under extreme pressure
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work on their own with a high level of competency
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • If required the ability to attend the conference and assist with
    registration
  • Own transport

 

Job Specification


  • Processing and management of delegate registrations to include hotel
    accommodation, travel arrangements, invoicing and all special arrangements
  • Follow up on all payments and recording of payments
  • Maintaining event database
  • Assisting where required with back-up support administration in respect of
    all other conference participants including but not restricted to exhibitors,
    sponsors, speakers and VIP guests.
