Job purpose:
To administer applications for operating licences.

 

Minimum Requirements

Requirements:
• Grade 12 (or equivalent qualification) - NQF 4;
• A minimum of 6 months appropriate experience.

 

Job Specification

Recommendation:
• Administrative experience;
• Public Transport experience;
• A valid driver's licence will serve as an added advantage.


Key performance areas:
• Effective utilization of the Business Process Management System;

• Administration of Gazetting;
• Assisting processing with applications;
• Assisting clients and following up on enquiries;
• Do additional tasks when required.


Competencies:
• A good understanding of the following:
   o Office Administration;
   o Records Management;
   o Public Service Act;
   o National Land Transport Act 2009;
• Proven computer literacy;
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape;
• Excellent report writing skills;
• Good planning and organising skills.
