ESTIMATOR - ROAD AND EARTHWORKS 25 000 – 40 000. Suitable candidate MUST have the following: • Civil / QS qualification is essential • Extensive experience in a civil environment • Site experience is beneficial • Valid driver’s licence / Own vehicle BSc/BTech/Dip in either QS or Construction Management or Civil Engineering. Must have had at least 3-5 years site experience couple with a minimum of 3 years estimating experience. • Must have thorough knowledge of CCS (estimating & site plan) • Computer literate (MS Word and Excel) • Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the construction field • Must have thorough knowledge of the principles of tendering and must be able to build a tender in order put forward for approval and sign off • Must have an understanding of costing, estimating and procurement principles • Must have good communication skills Please note: Only short listed candidates will be contacted.
