Description:

SPECIFIC OUTCOMES / ACCOUNTABILITY

 

Performance Management:

  • Ensure all performance management forms and templates are updated and made available to all relevant employees.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on all submitted performance reviews for Holdings and advise Group Talent Development Manager on discrepancies.
  • Quantify all submissions against the target of participation rate for all Business Units.
  •  Participate in process improvement initiatives.

 

Employment Equity:

  • Collect, analyse and file all minutes of Employment Equity Forums from all Business Units.
  • Assess key themes that pertain to the achievement of targets.
  • Collect all and summarise progress status on Affirmative Action Measures from all Business Units.
  • Compile quarterly progress reports on Numerical Goals and Affirmative Action measures.
  • Monitor overall Employment Equity status or progress against the B-BBEE targets (EE element).

 

Succession Planning:

  • Keep all succession templates updated.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of Succession pool (talent) as submitted by all sites.
  • Monitor implementation of development initiatives against each succession candidate.
  • Write quarterly reports on Succession progress.
  • Prepare relevant information for Group talent review meetings e.g. candidate profiles, completed templates and summaries, development information, demographic information, progress made, etc.

  

General:

  • Assist in contributing to special projects related to organizational development.
  • Provide ad hoc support on the roll-out of strategic training and development programs,
  • Assist in improving existing organizational development tools and processes (e.g. deliverables, templates and techniques).
  • Be able to co-ordinate and work as a team with HR peers from respective Business Units.
  • Produce reports on different computer-based formats such as PowerPoint presentations, Excel and Word reports.
  • Deal promptly with client requests in a competent, efficient and professional manner.
  • Engage in appropriate training interventions to promote own professional development.
 

Requirements:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate strictly with BDegree/ Btech.
  • Degree with preference given to individuals who have completed Industrial and Organizational Psychology subjects.
  • Proof of excellent academic results.

 

SKILLS

  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of Legislation, Employment Practices and Process.
  • Understanding of Project Management.
  • Strong co-ordination skills.
