Job Specification

HR Internship – To provide comprehensive HR administration and support on critical HR Projects working closely with the HR Practitioner’s, Recruitment Specialist and HR Manager in order to ensure that a high quality of HR service is delivered to the Business regarding critical HR projects

KPA

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

Internship and Learnership program (60%)

  • Preparation of Agreements, Contracts and ID copies, programme rollout plan with detailed list of learners
  • Preparation of invoices and other documentation necessary for submission to MICT Seta re Discretionary Grant claims.
  • Preparation of quarterly progress reports based on approved roll out plan
  • Preparation of site reports by MICT Seta
  • Preparation completion and final reports

Employee Engagement – critical positions and contract positions – 10%

 

 

 

 

  • Assist with recruitment as and when necessary to provide assistance for Recruitment Specialist for critical and contract positions
  • Shortlisting of CVS
  • Opening of interview packs, scheduling of interviews
  • Telephonic interviews where necessary Facilitate the scheduling of the Bi-Monthly induction programme in Gauteng
  • Creation of ID cards
  • Facilitate the process of keeping autobiographies

 

HR Administration = 10%

  • Collating Finders Fee and submitting to HR Manager  for authorisations and ensuring that payroll process accordingly
  • Confirmation of employment – written and verbal
  • Birthday letters
  • Long Service Awards – preparation
  • Ordering Stationary
  • Completion of UI19’s
  • Provide reports when and where necessary off VIP
  • Ensure that Exit interview has been completed & returned for capturing onto the spread sheet
  • Responsible for keeping exit interviews updated
  • Filing for HR General

 

HR Projects -15%

  • Provide support to the HRP’s on the Job Analysis and Job evaluation project
  • Facilitate the collection and gathering of all BEE data for reporting purposes

 

Training / Skills – 5%

§  Capture all completed HR /Competency onto the HR Database (VIP)- skills

·         Provide accurate efficient HR information for

·         Filing for training

 

General

  • Assist the HR Manager and HRP’s with critical projects and duties when required.
