Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resources Management

Skills and Competencies

  • Knowledge of MS Office

Key Responsibilities

  • Skills Planning by:
    • Assisting the HRP with information to compile a plan by performing basic calculations and formats to assist with regard to
      • Long and short term manpower needs
      • Intake of learners
      • Determining trends in particular customer bases
  • Skills Sourcing by:
    • Coordinating the entire sourcing process from SPS to closure of file to comply with audit procedure/requirements
    • Conducting interviews as and when required
    • Performing thorough reference checking of candidates and validation of qualifications with Tertiary institutions
    • Coordinates and conducts the intake of learners process
  • Employee Maintenance by:
    • Coordinating events with regard to employee maintenance processes i.e. Teambuilding, workshops, medical surveillance follow-ups etc.
    • Consolidating performance management ratings and refers to Admin.
    • Monitoring Performance Enhancement Programme (PEP)
    • Conducting minor audits i.e. Performance compacts and PDP's in place
    • Assisting with salary pattern fits, preparation of GA2's, calculates P50, coordinates SDMP
    • Monitoring absenteeism (sick leave) and Providing report for the purpose of initiating incapacity process by HRP
    • Chairing a local forum in absence of HRP where applicable
    • Coordinating IR training needs of line management
  • Employee Benefits by:
    • Providing first line basic advice in terms of the Conditions of Service
  • Exit Management by:
    • Conducting exit interviews as and when required
    • Assisting with analysing trends of all exits
  • Management Information by:
    • Consolidating reports of all relevant HR information including HRSI
    • Ensuring data integrity, historical data and data security
